I believe that, essentially, life consists of a series of choices Essay Example For Students
I accept that, basically, life comprises of a progression of decisions Essay I accept that, basically, life comprises of a progression of decisions. A gathering of these decisions toward some path makes us what our identity is, and at last we have power over our lives. What makes one individual not quite the same as another is his own arrangement of decisions. While experiencing lifes movements, we build up certain perspectives and thoughts and qualities to live by. We build up an assessment of what makes an individual extraordinary. In the notable exposition Self-Reliance, Ralph Waldo Emerson gives a lovely method of moving toward these decisions, and he uncovers a moving arrangement of qualities unified around experiencing life noting just to yourself. I love the manner in which Emerson assesses the general public we live in, and how he fundamentally supports being misconstrued and protester. Emerson, such as myself, displays benefits of saying precisely what you think and living just by what you accept to be the best. On the off chance that I can effectively shape my life around thoughts of independence I can be actually who I need to be. I check out me and dont need to fit in with societys gauges, I perceive that there is a simple way out, yet attempt my best to stay consistent with myself by following my heart with unadulterated conviction. In light of my longing to stay consistent with myself, I intently relate to Emerson in Self-Reliance: To accept your own idea, to accept that what is valid for you in your private heart is valid for all men, that is virtuoso. Emersons perspectives on society truly address me also. With the goal for me to act naturally dependent, I should perceive that society needs all of its individuals to have a cutout picture and character which I am continually attempting to break free of. I share this perspective on society with Emerson: Society is a business entity, wherein the individuals concur, for the better making sure about of his bread to every investor, to give up the freedom and culture of the eater. The ethicalness of solicitation is congruity. Independence is its abhorrence. In everything that I do I choose to go the street less voyaged, I settle on the decision to see something in an unexpected manner in comparison to every other person. I decide not to wear a similar garments as the vast majority do, I decide to consistently say what is at the forefront of my thoughts and I attempt my hardest to not let what individuals may consider me meddle with what I state I and do. I see myself as a non-conventionalist thus. In any event, with regards to culture: I would very much want the autonomous, privately claimed video shop where I can discover darken motion pictures to the immense Blockbuster. I dont decide to tune in to Popular music or purchase the CDs of craftsmen being forced on us by MTV. I decide to locate my own flavor, to ignore the mind dominant part as well as could be expected. My emotions oblige Emersons again in Self-Reliance: A man is to hold himself within the sight of all restriction, as though everything were main and transient yet he. Proceeding regarding the matter of congruity Emerson gives the renowned line: Whoso would take care of business must be a free thinker. Pushing again the perspective on noting just to yourself when settling on decisions in life Emerson states: Nothing is finally consecrated yet the honesty of your own psyche. Vindicate to yourself, and you will have the testimonial of the world. On the off chance that I am to continually do something contrary to the standard inside this general public, at that point I am normally misconstrued in kind. To fit into societys cutout picture, you should keep up a specific controlled consistency. I thusly, once more, appreciate and can relate to Emersons sees about being misjudged and about that very consistency of our general public. This thought drives us again to a notable segment in Self-Reliance: A silly consistency is the demon of little personalities, loved by little legislators and rationalists and divines㠢â⠬â ¦ With consistencyhe should worry about his shadow on the divider. .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 , .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .postImageUrl , .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .focused content region { min-stature: 80px; position: relative; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 , .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:hover , .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:visited , .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:active { border:0!important; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .clearfix:after { content: ; show: table; clear: both; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 { show: square; change: foundation shading 250ms; webkit-progress: foundation shading 250ms; width: 100%; mistiness: 1; progress: haziness 250ms; webkit-progress: murkiness 250ms; foundation shading: #95A5A6; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:active , .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:hover { darkness: 1; progress: obscurity 250ms; webkit-progress: obscurity 250ms; foundation shading: #2C3E50; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .focused content territory { width: 100%; position: relative; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .ctaText { outskirt base: 0 strong #fff; shading: #2980B9; text dimension: 16px; textual style weight: striking; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; content enhancement: underline; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .postTitle { shading: #FFFFFF; text dimension: 16px; textual style weight: 600; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; width: 100%; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .ctaButton { foundation shading: #7F8C8D!important; shading: #2980B9; fringe: none; fringe range: 3px; box-shadow: none; text dimension: 14px; text style weight: intense; line-tallness: 26px; moz-fringe span: 3px; content adjust: focus; content adornment: none; content shadow: none; width: 80px; min-tallness: 80px; foundation: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/modules/intelly-related-posts/resources/pictures/straightforward arrow.png)no-rehash; position: supreme; right: 0; top: 0; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:hover .ctaButton { foundation shading: #34495E!important; } . u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5 .focused content { show: table; stature: 80px; cushioning left: 18px; top: 0; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5-content { show: table-cell; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; cushioning right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-adjust: center; width: 100%; } .u4f226b8c86e98f6da00117a15d3a8ea5:after { content: ; show: square; clear: both; } READ: Michael Jackson EssayEmerson likewise noticed that the best unadulterated and shrewd individuals of all history were misconstrued: Is it so awful, at that point, to be misjudged? Effects Of European Exploration On Europe, Africa, And The...
The effect of European Exploration on Europe, Africa, and the Americas Whenever you hear about the European Exploration, or ââ¬ËThe Age of Discoveryââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ you hear a lot about what the Europeans gained from it, while they did learn a lot from this and gather a lot of new resources they were not the only ones affected. The Age of Discovery affected more areas that just Europe, it also affected the Americas and Africa. To prove this we must first know what European Exploration is. From the 15th century to the end of the 18th century was a time loosely described as a powerful factor in European culture and the beginning of globalization. Historians often call this period The Price Revolution. (Vlib.iue.it World History, 2017) Crops were transported over from the New World, such as Potatoes, tomatoes, squashes, pumpkins, beans, and other vegetables that drastically changed the European diet. Before the arrival of said plants the European diet relied on grain, mostly wheat, even this was hard to come by as there was not land to farm on. Cargo ships coming from the New World brought other resources needed for the growing industrial Europe, ship timbers, hemp rope, tar, furs, dyes such as indigo and red Brazil wood, dried fish, flaxseed oil, hides, and a mass of other materials. With the shipments of North American nicotine filled tobacco, the Aztecsââ¬â¢ caffeine infested cocoa, coffee from the Arabs, and tea from the Chinese, Europe had been thrusted into a ââ¬Ëdrug- consuming societyââ¬â¢ (Vlib.iue.it World History, 2017). Financial Plan Sales and Fixed Expenses
Question: Discuss about theFinancial Plan for Sales and Fixed Expenses. Answer: Introduction The financial plan assesses the viability of undertaking a project. It helps in determining if the undertaking of the project would lead to value creation for its investors. All the parameters like sales, variable, fixed expenses and other expenses are estimated keeping in mind the nature of the industry in which the business would be involved and they are included in computing profitability of the project. Here the financial viability of the bakery is being assessed to decide for undertaking the project by the investor. Start- Up Cost It refers to the cost required for the initiation of business (Morah, 2008). The investment that has to be additionally made by the investor for starting the business forms a part of the start-up cost. The commitments that have been undertaken by the investor prior to the initiation of the project would not form a part of the start-up cost. It is the cost that has to be incurred prior to the realization of benefits from the business or project (Schmidt, 2015). Here, the initial investment of $200000 has to be made to purchase the bakery caf business. It would be run on the premises that have been taken on a lease rent of 3000 per month by the owner. Keeping in mind the above situation we can state that the start-up cost for the business is $200000. Since the agreement for the lease has been entered into by the owner prior to the purchase of the bakery and is a fixed financial commitment on the part of the owner it will not be considered as a part of start-up cost. It is assumed that all the important equipment and another asset that are required for operating the bakery business will be available in the amount that is being rendered for the purchase of the bakery business. Sales Forecast It means projecting the sales for the business in the forthcoming period. It is done keeping in mind the demand of the product in which the entity deals and the preference of the product of the entity over the products of its consumers. It is an essential tool for managing the business of any size (Infoentrepreneurs.org, 2016). The effectiveness of the sales forecast would depend on the assumptions and drivers that have been undertaken for assuming the sales. It is essential to study the sales forecast at proper interval and revise it in case of requirement noting the decisions that have led to such revisions. Sales largely depend upon the price at which the product is being offered to the consumers. Therefore, it is important to price the product in such a manner that the entity is able to maximize its profit. In the given case, the bakery business is being acquired by the owner but since it will be conducted on the leased premises of the owner we can assume that it will have to build its own demand and would have to penetrate the market. The sales in the initial months would be lesser as compared to the later months where an increase in the demand for the products can be expected due to the gaining popularity of the business. The sales forecast for the current year has been made hereunder keeping in mind the industry of the business. Month January February March April May June Units 1000 1200 1450 1600 1700 1750 Month July August September October November December Units 1800 2000 2300 2700 3000 3500 Break-Even Analysis Break-even refers to the point at which the total contribution is equal to the fixed expense that has to be incurred. It is the point at which the company neither makes any profit nor suffers any losses by undertaking the business or project. It is the point at which the total sales income is equal to total expenses, both fixed and variable (Tsorakidis et al., 2014). To compute the break-even point of a business it is essential that all the associated costs are included in the computation of break-even. Break-even point is the minimum number of units that are required to be sold by the business to finance its fixed expenses. The break-even analysis for the business has been made hereunder to identify the minimum number of units that are required to be sold. Fixed Expenses Rent Expense- 36000 Interest Expense 6000 Total Fixed Expense 42000 Sale Price per Unit - $5 Variable Cost per Unit - $2 Contribution per unit - $3 Break- Even point = Total Fixed Expense/Contribution per unit = 42000/3 = 14000 units. For the above computation the following have been assumed:- The sale price of each unit would be $5. The variable cost for each unit would be$2. The investment of $100000 would be financed by loan @6% p.a. Therefore, it would generate a yearly interest of $6000 that would be payable by the business. Therefore, the break-even point for the business would be $14000 by keeping in mind all the assumptions. The rent would be included in fixed expense even though the lease agreement has been entered into by the owner prior to purchase of business because it is a fixed commitment on the part of the owner and since the premises will be used for operating the business it is important to include this cost as fixed expense for the computation of break-even point. Conclusion It is feasible to operate a business in case it is financially viable. A business is viable if the revenue that is generated by the business is able to recover its portion of the variable cost and the considerable portion of fixed cost at the initiation of the business. Some businesses might have a longer gestation period and might not be viable initially to the investor. By studying the expected sales forecast and the break-even point it is concluded that the expected sales forecast is higher than the break-even point which will result in profit for the business from the year of initiation. Therefore the business is financially profitable. References Cafferky, M. and Wentworth, J. (2010).Breakeven analysis. Garrison, R. and Noreen, E. (2000).Managerial accounting. The College Essay Blues free essay sample
I have been fretting about my college essay. I am worried that it will decide my future. Everyone tells me thatââ¬â¢s not true. Even books (especially books) tell me thatââ¬â¢s not true. Colleges are asking too much, perhaps, when they tell us to sum up our lives (however short; sixteen, seventeen, or eighteen is a lifetime to us ââ¬â literally!) in a clear and concise 350-500 word essay. How can we be clear and concise about our teenage-selves, which are tumbling around in our heads like clothes in a washing machine on the fritz? Am I supposed to describe my tendency to drink Diet Coke in excess, or the ââ¬Å"Feliz Cumpleanosâ⬠banner thatââ¬â¢s still hanging in my room from my sixteenth birthday? Should I try to write down the utter joy I feel at composing a simple German sentence? Am I allowed to fess up to my gossip magazine addiction? British Monetary Policy vis--vis Euro-Zone Essay
British Monetary Policy vis--vis Euro-Zone - Essay Example In the 19th century peak British currency was actually defined in terms of gold. Giving up the precious metal link after 1945 relaxed the constraint on monetary policy and the floating sterling exchange rate that followed provided even less discipline. With the discarding of any precious metal support, dependence in sterling and monetary policy after the Second World War was reflected in the foreign exchange value, which fell from $4.03 to $1.70 by 1976, while inflation climaxed at an annual rate of 26.9%. Different tactics to create monetary stability have been tried since 1945, including shadow the Deutschmark and monetary targeting. Paradoxically one of the greater political dishonours for sterling, being forced out of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism in 1992, marked the beginning of the present union of the British economy to a stable non-inflationary growth path. The turn around in post war British economic policy began with Margaret Thatcher's government, elected in 1979. In addition to a series of monetary policy experiments, a variety of structural reforms in the economy were begun, including privatisation and steps to increase labour market flexibility. Inflation receded along with unemployment and economic development resumed. Election of the 'New Labour' government of 1997 saw no break in the principles of national economic management. It created an independent Monetary Policy Committee instructed to follow a uniform inflation rule and to report their deliberations. These arrangements eventually are usually judged to provide best practice monetary policy. For example synchronization between independent monetary and fiscal policies is far easier for Britain under the present arrangements than for Euro-zone with its many national taxing and spending policies. Not only is the monetary policy strategy and inflation target of the European Central Bank (ECB) censured for being poor and possibly damaging to the ECB's credibility. For the better management of the nation's finances the Chancellor of the Exchequer introduced the long belated distinction between capital and current account spending. Borrowing to improve the nation's useful capital was acceptable, as was temporary borrowing to stabilise the economy in the face of shocks. To ensure government debt increases were restricted to these two purposes, he accepted two obligations on government policy; that existing account spending should balance tax receipts over the cycle and that the government debt to national income ratio should not exceed 40 %. These improvements in the British macroeconomic management structure are important and definitely superior to the present equivalent institutions of the euro-zone, the European Central Bank and the Growth and Stability Pact. The government now needs to make comparable progress in the fields of the health service, education and transport, about which there is general displeasure among the electorate. In these services there is much to be learned from other European countries nevertheless joining the euro and possible resulting closer political integration with Europe do not guarantee to deal with British concerns. European Integration What Britain has in fact wanted from the rest of Europe is simply free trade, not imported institutions intended to manage continental problems.

An Exploratory Analysis of the Possibility for LUSH to Achieve Success in China (Mainland) - Essay Example This policy creates a dilemma for companies like Lââ¬â¢Oreal which seek to expand their market share to serve consumers from countries where humane treatment of animals is a public policy (1). Nevertheless, it is not possible for these companies to exclude China in their market expansion strategies until the government changes the current regulations regarding animal testing and substantiate on the matter (2). Indeed, China is thinking of ways to reduce animal testing with regards to cosmetics (3). Chinas Food & Drug Administration announced that from June 2014, China will do away with its mandatory animal test requirements for cosmetic products manufactured domestically (4). For the first time ever, Chinese companies producing "non-special use cosmetics" such as shampoos or perfumes will have an option as to whether to submit their product samples to the government for testing on rabbits, mice and rats. This will be accompanied by substantiating on product safety using existing safety data for raw ingredients, or European Union-validated non-animal tests (4). The ââ¬ËBe Cruelty-Freeââ¬â¢Ã organisation will continue to work with Chinese officials towards a complet e ban on cosmetics animal testing (4). This study focused on exploring Chinaââ¬â¢s market potential for typical non-animal testing supporter, Lush, discussing its common marketing strategy and management style as ethical business. My personal interest drove me to choose this topic. I have been interested in Lush for three years after several pleasant experiences on purchases both from online stores and agents. Surprisingly, despite its popularity, it is rare in physical stores. Lush was founded in 1994 as an organic cosmetics and skin care company. The core belief on which it was started was to manufacture fresh mandate products from natural

Canon Versus Epson Essay Example for Free
Canon Versus Epson Essay On the occasion of the launch of the New Occasional Observer issue of June / July 2006 entitled Empire of High-tech, two press advertisements have been selected. These advertisements are meant for multifunction scanners, of Epson and Canon. These two ads have caught the attention to study them sequentially by means of quantitative and qualitative studies to analyze their strengths and weaknesses before proposing a new advertisement as to which one has been the least attractive from the readers perspective. Canon and Epson are both international benchmarks for all aspects of imaging. Canon began in 1930 with cameras and then moved on to printers and scanners and Epson has released the first printers to extend its expertise in the field of cameras. Canon puts more emphasis on the art of the image, which is perfected by quality tools (the site offers to download pictures of fashion as an advertisement for appliances). Everyone is free to exercise their creativity in the best conditions. As for the Epson, it emphasized its professionalism and reliability. Both are assured by technical expertise and the proven quality of its products allows everyone to get the best results. They can print photos without the need of a computer. The prints are fast and are of high quality (comparable to that of laboratories). They have an integrated high-resolution scanner of 1200 times 2400 dpi and a screen for viewing prints. However, it is observed that the advertising targets and objectives are different. This is related in part to the image and strategy of each company. After analyzing the two advertisements, it is noted that the targets and objectives are consistent with the advertising strategies of each brand. So what is the best advertising strategy designed to best meet the instructions of the copy strategies? The Canon company is launch the new printer-scanner Canon Pixma MP450, which provides quick and easy high-quality prints. The launch of the new printer-scanner from Epson Stylus Photo RX520 is for family use which provides an easy and attractive price of printing high quality photos. Although consumers have become accustomed to using digital cameras to store their photos on memory cards and use the software to edit their photos, they are still reluctant to print them out themselves for fear of not getting a satisfactory print quality or if it costs them more expensive than in a lab photos. Both the companies need to gain the trust of the consumers by proving that the picture quality of a printer-scanner is comparable to a photo lab. This is to reassure consumers about the quality of photos that are developed them. The companies need to provide the consumer with a desire to buy a technical product for use that is related to leisure or looking for creative pleasure and is also considered a priority. The purpose of advertising will be to combine the performance of a product in both design, aesthetic that recalls the famous image relatively in the background and technique. A Little Commonwealth Essay -- essays research papers
The modern image of the New England Puritans, as one perceives, is a dark one: the Puritans, religious dissenters who valued propriety and order, are seen as a witch-hunters, suspicious tribe, and their very name carries connotations of grimness and primness. The Public and Private Life Essay
In Williamââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ Shakespeareââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"Julius Caesar,â⬠there is a conflict in the characters public and private lives. The major characters, Julius Caesar, Brutus, Cassius and Antony, all experienced these conflicts. All actions these characters perform represent conflicts between the benefit of Rome and their own sense of honor, emotions and love for each other. Caesar is trying to form a new political system in Rome called dictatorship. Even though he has the ambition to become the emperor of Rome, he understands it is not the right moment to do so. He refuses the crown in front of the public and he cannot hide his big desire of being a king. His ambition has been shown through his actions. Although his refusals have earned him the publicââ¬â¢s adoration, Cassius and Casca are disgusted by the spectacle. Casca reports that the ââ¬Å"rabblement hooted . . . when Caesar refused the crownâ⬠(1, ii, 254-258). The conspirators who decide to stand up agains t him have caught his personal ambition. Even though Calpurniaââ¬â¢s dream about the beast providing an omen to warn Caesar, ââ¬Å"When beggars die, there are no comets seen; the heavens themselves blaze forth the death of princesâ⬠(2, ii, 30-33) she tries to convince him to stay home by the beliefs in their time that her prediction would come true. He still doesnââ¬â¢t listen to his wife and refuses to stay home. Calpurnia didnââ¬â¢t give up and tried to warn him several times. He was almost getting convinced but when Decius comes and says, â⬠Senate have concluded to giveâ⬠¦crownâ⬠(2 ii 93-94). Decius manipulates Caesar in saying that so he decides to go. Caesarââ¬â¢s public self takes priority to push him to go. Also, his decision to take care of public first keeps him from reading Artemidorusââ¬â¢s letter. Because of his act of putting the public interests first that made him deal with real consequences afterwards. At the end, Caesarââ¬â¢s last word is ââ¬Å"Et Tu Brute?â⬠(3, i, 84-85). Because he realizes that he has shown his ambition too much. Ignoring his private sentiments to follow public concerns brings Caesar to his death. Brutus shows that his personal life is not as important as Rome by not telling about the conspirators to his wife Portia. She suffers because of his actions. Portia says, ââ¬Å"and could it work so much upon your shape as it hath much prevailed on your condition, I should not know you, Brutusâ⬠(2, i, 273-75). She claims that his behavior is strange and he has been acting bizarre. So she begs to know his secret but he decides to keep that secret. He believes that he hasà to act on the peopleââ¬â¢s will -ââ¬Å"shall Rome stand under one manââ¬â¢s aweâ⬠(2, i, 54-55). He goes ahead with the murder of Caesar, despite their close friendship -ââ¬Å"Not that I love Caesar less, but I love Rome moreâ⬠(3, ii, 19-20). Brutus puts aside his personal loyalties and personal thoughts of Caesar. He acts on what he believes to be the publicââ¬â¢s wishes and kills Caesar. Brutus puts himself in danger by believing that his public self is important than his private will. After Caesarââ¬â¢s assassination, Brutus believes they are ââ¬Å"sacrificeââ¬â¢s, not butchersâ⬠(2, i, 171-177) , so his self-morals impel him to give up his private self again. He shows mercy to Antony and allows him to do the funeral oration. Ironically, by killing Caesar, Brutus had a visit from Caesarââ¬â¢s spirit as he takes the lead of conspirators and Cassius. At the end, Brutus chooses to die honorably, sacrificing himself to reconcile his public and private lives. Not only Brutus cannot balance his public and private life but also Cassius cannot. Cassius lacks all sense of personal life and his motivations are based on his envy and jealousy. He allows Brutus the leadership of the group and that is a big mistake. Especially when Brutus decides to not think of Mark Antony with the funeral oration, that he is allowed to make. Brutus let Antony do that he makes the entire city be against the conspirators. Cassius has so much admiration and respect to Brutus that he concedes Brutus to the military strategy in marching along to meet the army Antony and Octavius during the Philippi war. Even if Cassius is smarter and more observant, he has to sacrifice his principles and compromise ââ¬Å"with your will, go onâ⬠(4, iii, 220) as he is unable to challenge the authority and moral rights of Brutus. Antony is the only one who can adjust his public and private selves perfectly. However, Mark Antony admires Brutus personally and praises him as ââ¬Å"the noblest Roman of them allâ⬠(5, V, 73). He fights against Brutus to revenge Caesarââ¬â¢s death. Antony chooses to give up his public life, like his loyalty for Caesar. Antony is the only one who deserves the success because even though he admires Brutus he shows no hesitations on which side he wants to stay. The tragedies that occurred with the characters resulted in disaster because they refused to balance their both private and public feelings in favor of what they believed to be the public good. The apparent experiment of attempting to mix their private and public lives does not bring them any favor because they cannot adjust to a new way of life. Caesarââ¬â¢s ambition took over him, leaving his wife, Calpurnia, who dreamt about his murder, in distress as she finds the news of his downfall to happen because his public persona lead him to his death. Caesar did not suffer his demise alone as Brutus falls from great heights as well when he refuses to tell the secret to his wife, Portia, when she begs him to tell her. He pushes aside his personal loyalties and decides to kill Caesar. However, Brutus and Caesarsââ¬â¢ altering lifestyles seems to be no matter for Cassius as he has no private life but still refuses to admit his own sensibilities. Moreover, Antony didnââ¬â¢t suffer a downfall because he knew how to balance separate both his public and private life.

Influence of Ww1 on the Artwork of Early 20th Century
On August 1st 1914, Germany declared war on Russia, and on the 3rd, declared war on France. Starting at the top of the previous page the first piece of artwork I chose to review is Max Beckmanns piece Der Kriegsausbruch (Declaration of War), created in 1914 as the declarations of war had just been announced. This is a drawing depicting the reaction of passers-by in Berlin to the news of war being declared. I chose this piece specifically because of the sketchy style of drawing. I find that the looseness of his lines give the piece a feeling of anxiousness or even stress that I imagine many of the citizens depicted in the piece were feeling at the time. The second piece I chose was created by artist, Alfred Kubin, entitled Dieâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦SESAM, Paris 1998. http://www.art-ww1.com/gb/texte/001text.html Art of the First World War.
